A cycle of meetings will begin at the Bellini Museum in Asola in the province of Mantua from Sunday 4 February which is entitled "Ancient Persia, Secret Iran: a wonder of beauty". The project is in fact the continuation of the intercultural path undertaken last year to deepen customs and traditions of the Far East
The meetings will touch on historical and contemporary themes, highlighting the various aspects of the life of a fascinating and complex country. This is the calendar of meetings:
4 February 2018: Peter Assmann - Director of the Museum Complex of the Ducal Palace of Mantua "A journey towards art in Iran"
18 February2018: Marida Brignani - Coordinator of the Mantuan Institute of Contemporary History "In the paradise of the gardens of Persia"
4 March 2018: Sara Hejazi - journalist and writer "Iran and women. Travel through a poorly understood country "
18 March 2018: Matteo Molinari - film critic "Iranian cinema between fairytale and reality. Existential journey of the eyes and the spirit ".
