Condolences for the martyrdom anniversary Imam Ali (AS).
Today, the 21st day of the Holy month of Ramadan, is the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (May peace be upon him), the first infallible Imam of the Shiite tradition.
Imam Ali (AS) reached martyrdom on that day, after two days earlier, on the 19th of Ramadan, he was struck by Ibn Muljam's poisoned sword while praying in the Kufa mosque.
That day, at dusk before dawn, while Imam Ali (AS) was intent on praying in the mosque of Kufa, the deviant Ibn Muljam struck him from the back with a sword impregnated with poison, Imam Ali (AS) suffered two days of suffering before reaching martyrdom for the deep wound and the poison.
Thus, Imam Ali (AS) until the last moment demonstrated his spirit of altruism, his commitment to justice, and his compliance without ifs and buts with Islamic dictates.
