Main objectives and services offered by the Cultural Institute are:

  • Promote knowledge of contemporary Iran, in particular highlight the achievements and progress of the Islamic Revolution in accordance with the doctrine of the country's system;
    Joint collaboration with state centers that private in the field of science, religion, culture and art through the stipulation of bilateral agreements between them;
  • The holding of cultural weeks and the film festival in various Italian locations;
    Bilateral collaborations with the media and promotional activities on social networks;
    Provide tourist information by presenting natural, archaeological, artistic, sporting and religious attractions to tourists interested in Iran;
  • Establish and support Persian, Iranian, Islamic (Shi'ism) language and literature courses at Italian universities;
    Provide advice and support in the preparation of degree and doctoral theses to students and researchers;
    The granting of scholarships reserved for university students and researchers to allow them to participate in specialized courses and to update the Persian language;
  • translation and publication of book works to introduce literature, history, culture and Persian art;
    support the translation and edition of literary works related to Iranian culture and civilization;
    Organizing various art, classical and contemporary events;
  • Enhance traditional and classical Persian music through musical events;
