White Chairs by Reza Dormischian at the XVIII edition of Asiatica

At the 18 ° Edition of the Asian Film Festival and in collaboration with the Cultural Institute of Iran, on Wednesday 20 at 20.00 will be screened the film White Chairs by Iranian director Reza Dormischian. A boy and a girl in Christchurch (New Zealand) lost their families because of the earthquake. The two live alone, both struggling with mourning; it will be their meeting to trigger the rebirth of hope through love. With an astonishing photographic installation, the director builds a mosaic of sounds and images that wants to speak directly to the heart of the spectator. This year, Asia has chosen as its location the cinema theater "Quattro Fontane" in Via delle Quattro Fontane 23. The Quattro Fontane cinema is one of the most famous and historical of the Capital: located in the heart of Rome, halfway between the Quirinale Palace and Piazza della Repubblica.
The cinema is easily reachable by public transport from the subway station A: Repubblica or Barberini; as well as bus stops in Via Nazionale: 40-60-64-70-71-170.
