Cultural Activities

The Cultural Institute of Iran essentially carries out its activities in two directions. The first consists in programming its activity to give a better knowledge of Persian culture, such as exhibitions, conferences, concerts, film screenings, theatrical performances, book publications, the conduct of Persian language and literature courses. The second consists in collaborations with institutions and institutions in Italy, in particular with Italian universities in the scientific field and the promotion of Persian and Islamic language courses.

Persian language

The Cultural Institute of Iran in Rome, as part of its cultural and educational activities, promotes the Persian language course. The course aims to introduce to one of the main Central and Western Asian languages ​​whose great importance is linked to its extraordinary historical-cultural tradition. The course is taught by the mother-tongue teacher or the university teacher and takes place only on the day Saturday at the Institute's headquarters in Rome in via Maria Pezzè Pascolato, 9.
