The House of Sadra spring

Mohammad ebn-e Ebrahim Yahya Shirazi - also known as Sadr-ol-Motalehin but famous with the popular nickname of Molla Sadra - he was among the greatest philosophers of his time, one of the greatest gnosis connoisseurs in the world and one of the most eminent personalities of Muslim sages.

He was born in Shiraz in the year 979 or 980 of the lunar hegira, after learning the preliminary sciences in his hometown, he went to Esfahan to complete his studies. Once he achieved competence in Islamic theology and law, studying with masters of the caliber of Sheykh Bahayi and Mir Damad, to purify the soul, conduct and his mystical path Molla Sadra decided to go to the village of Kahak near the city of Qom.
