Sanjideh mosque
The Sanjideh mosque is located in the city of Qazvin (region of the same name) and was built in place of a temple of fire in the same place, probably in the Seljuk period (sixth century Egira lunar).
The Sanjideh mosque with a conical and very high arch is one of the ancient mosques of the city. Despite the madrasa combined with the mosque has completely disappeared and a large part of the inscriptions inside have collapsed, still has a solidity and a particular majesty.
Currently only has the environment of the gonbadkhāneh square in shape. Inside there is a valuable maiolicate epigraph that contains prayers addressed to Imam Ali (A) but most of it has collapsed.
The Sanjideh mosque has a Seljuk style dome, a low minaret and decorations a muqarnas under the dome. The present and unknown tomb on whose stone the name Hassan is written, is located in the oldest building of the mosque or in a crypt similar to a mithraeum of ancient Iran.
In the middle of the courtyard there is a tub with a rhomboidal shape.
