Lake Kuh-e Gol
Lake Kuh-e Gol is located north of the city of Si Sakht (Kohgiluyeh region and Buyer Ahmad). It extends in an area of half a hectare and is deep 15 meters, in spring and summer it is filled with poppies and wild plants and in the hot season is the place where migratory birds like: various species of ducks, the mallard, the ciconids, the heron, the crane, the lapwing and the fulica together with the local birds gather on the shores of the lake or next to it.
The beautiful Kuh-e Gol lake with upturned tulip fields, the pleasant Tang Namak waterfall and the cold water spring, is located next to the Denā protected area (the tall Denā Mountain 4409 meters) and each year welcomes local tourists and foreigners.
The best season to visit this mountain with mineral water springs, seasonal lakes and flower-covered slopes is the month of Ordibehesht and without exaggeration for nature lovers is associated with an earthly paradise.
