Omidvar brothers museum
The Omidvar brothers museum is located in the northwest section of the Sa'd Ābād cultural-historical complex and its building belongs to the qajaro period. This museum includes four rooms with red brick façades and fine stucco work that were the shelter for the buggies and the rest room of the drivers. The building, after the Islamic revolution, was rebuilt and restored and inaugurated with the name of the first Iranian globetrotters.
The brothers Omidvār, Isa and Abdollah, after three years of study, in the 1333 (solar Egira) began their journey with the intent to see the unknown places of the world starting from their place of birth with a sum equal to about 90 dollars.
Thanks to the preparation of exhibitions of their travel discoveries in different parts of the world, the drafting of articles for world-renowned journals and the organization of conferences in the largest universities in the world, they managed to get the rest of their exploration expenses.
In the first seven years they traveled four continents on two motorcycles. The result of their ten-year journey in 99 countries on five continents consists of thousands of photographs, films, handicrafts from various places around the world and a large number of articles and scientific research.
