Famous Museums

The building that houses the Museum of the Famous or the Wax Museum, is located in the Saad Abad palace complex, among the buildings of the Qajar period confiscated by Reza Shah and subsequently donated to his wife Turan Amir Soleymani. After the dismissal of Reza Shah and ascending the throne of his son (Mohammad Rezā Pahlavi) the palace becomes the residence of the military close to the King. The palace has two buildings, one internal and one external. Currently the external one is used as a museum of the master Farshchiān and the internal one has become the Museum of the Famous.
In the courtyard there are images and a short biography of the faces that made the history of Iran in different areas, together with some statues of Iranian scientists.
