At the beginning for this part of the white building (Mellat museum) the function of greenhouse was considered but between the 1340-1345 years, with the occurrence of fundamental changes in use, the building was used as a private museum of Farah Pahlavi.
He currently exhibits the collection of paintings by Iranian artists such as Sohrāb Sepehri, Leili Matin Daftari, Irān Darudi, Faramarz Pilārām, Hossein Zenderoudi, Behjat Sadr, Ma'sud Arbashāhi, Ma'sumeh Seyhun etc. together with paintings by foreign artists such as: Bernard Buffet (France), Herbert Bayer (Austria), Fernand Léger (France), Mac Avoy (United States) Marc Chagall (France) etc.
The statues and impressive works of this salon were performed by Iranian masters and not as: Parviz Tanāvali (Iran), César Baldaccini (France), Yaacov Agam (United States) etc .. we also find wooden masks of Africa, bowls ancient clay from the Maya civilization (South America), wooden statues (South-east Asia) etc.
