Museum of royal clothes
The museum of royal clothes, actually the former palace of Shams Pahlavi, whose construction was completed in the year 1318, has an area of about 2600 square meters, includes two floors and a basement and was erected in the Iranian architectural style combined with the European one.
At one time this place was used to store valuable items and crockery and was called a private museum of gift giving. In the southern section of the building a summer events hall has been created with masonry, architectural decorations, a European portal where theatrical events were held and in a corner were kept the species of parrots and the birds of Shams Pahlavi.
After the Islamic revolution, this building was used as an anthropological museum, a museum of contemporary history and later a museum of royal clothes.
This complex includes photographs and clothes by some of the Pahlavi family members and some decorative objects.
