Asiab Kharabeh waterfall of Jolfa
Asiab Kharabeh is located near the village of Minjān Ābad, Jolfā province on the banks of the Aras River (eastern Azerbāijān region). This waterfall is a tourist and must see place and includes large and small waterfalls that descend from the top of the mountain.
Near this waterfall which is 10 meters high and has an area of 200 square meters at its feet, there is an ancient abandoned water mill from which this area takes its name and is renowned for its lush nature.
The surface of the walls of the waterfall is covered with moss and other aquatic plants. Near a spring in Asiāb Kharābeh, very beautiful fig trees have grown to make the landscape even more enchanting.
