Mausoleum of Ohadi Maraghei
The mausoleum of Ohadi Maraghei, tomb of Rakn Al-Din Abulhassan Marāghei known as Ohadi Marāghei (1271-1338) is located in the city of Marāgheh (eastern Azerbāijān region) whose new building dates back to the time of the second Pahlavi (between the 1353 years) and 1357).
The mausoleum complex, which is an example of modern Iranian architecture, includes: the square-shaped tomb in blue stone on a platform under a beautiful dome, the area around the mausoleum and the library which is located in the center of a beautiful stone paved garden (the previous tombstone was transferred to the museum).
Ohadi Marāghei is a mystic and a well-known Iranian Persian-speaking poet from the Ilkhanid period and author of the famous masnavi Jāme Jam. The Marāgheh museum, dedicated in particular to the Ilkhanid era, is next to its mausoleum.
