Farid ad-din 'Attar was a Persian poet and mystic who lived between 1145 and 1221. He is remembered for his contribution to Persian poetry and mystical and Sufi lyricism, as well as for his hagiographic works on the life of other important poets of his time. .
Its mausoleum dates back to the Timurid Empire (XNUMXth century), and is located in Nishapur. The plan of the building is octagonal, both internally and externally, but the most amazing part is the dome, elongated upwards and decorated with brightly colored mosaics and written in Kufico.
