Kafarin Strait

Kafarin Strait

The Kafarin Strait is located north of the city of Badreh. Its length is about two kilometers and its height above sea level is 700 meters. A kilometer from the entrance of the strait is a small lake called Zamzam. The river flows in this strait and after entering north of it it flows into the river Seimareh. Here the attention is drawn to examples of rocky architecture from the prehistoric period which demonstrate the antiquity and importance of the strait. Large oak forests and a variety of animals such as the Iranian squirrel are among the attractions of this place.
