Mount Qalaqiran

Mount Qalaqiran with its 2152 meters high, is located at 5 km from the center of Ilām. It is the symbol of the city and it is said that the Azādi tower of Tehrān was designed taking inspiration from this mountain. The views offered by the nature of the southern slopes of it, in the area of ​​Manjal and Sheshdār, attract many tourists every year. Moreover the antiquity of the area rich in history of this area dates back to the Sassanid era.
