Dizin ski area
The Dizin international ski slope is located in the Alborz mountain range in the city of Karaj (Alborz region) and was inaugurated in the year 1348. The fact of having special and special equipment such as: the descent and the length of the route together with recreational facilities, has made Dizin the most important ski slope in Iran and the Middle East and a place where ski competitions are held.
Dizin has 23 ski slopes that include 4 ovovie: shāle, ghale, darreh and chaman, 2 chairlifts, ghale and chaman, 7 skein skilifts that include dubl māyer, sichāl, guzani, posht-e vil, mabtadi, chaman and a ski lift T-Bar.
The lowest point relative to sea level is 2650 meters while the highest point reaches 3600 meters; the skiable route goes from 5 to 7 km.
The ski season in Dizin most used by skiers goes from the beginning of December to the end of May.
In summer on this track it is also possible to practice grass skiing. The grass ski slope in Dizin has a length of 650 meters. Throughout the year, international grass skiing competitions are held in this area. At the same time, in other areas of Dizin, including the grass ski slope area, there is the possibility to practice activities such as mountain biking, archery, hang gliding etc. and tourists can visit the garden which has rare mountain flowers and plants.
