Nasseri mosque

The Nasseri mosque is located in the city of Bandar Abbas (Hormozgan region) and was built in the year 1925. The style of the building of this ancient mosque is inspired by the traditional architecture of southern Iran and its ceiling is made with a particular wood from India.

The primary construction of the mosque consists of a central dome with beautiful geometric motifs in relief and two minarets. The main door is wooden and overlooks the courtyard, which is very beautiful, with stone, brick and painted tile columns.

This mosque has interesting stucco work, the internal surface of its dome is embellished with Koranic verses and the windows with polychrome glasses are decorated with motifs depicting eight-petal flowers.

In addition to the fascinating paintings and drawings of the mosque, Indian relief motifs whose center is in the shape of a flower have also been used.
