Bandar Abbas' Imamzadeh Seyyed Mozaffar

The mausoleum and shrine of Imamzadeh Seyyed Mozaffar (A), who died in 404 of the lunar Hegira, grandson of the fourth generation of Imam Musa Kazem (A), is located in the city of Bandar Abbas (Hormozgan region).

The building was restored several times and in 1926 it was rebuilt and enlarged. Placed on a high platform, it has four goldasteh of four enameled minarets and its beautiful turquoise majolica, the windows and its external facade are a testimony of the architecture of the Safavid era.

The arch of the entrance door of the building has decorations a muqarnas and the dome has inlaid tiles. Contrary to other religious places such as Shahceragh, the art of mirror processing was not used for the decoration of the internal environment.

In the outer area of ​​the mausoleum typical trees of the Bandar Abbas area have been planted such as palm trees. This religious place since ancient times has attracted the attention of ordinary people in the Hormozgan region and annually hosts countless pilgrims.
