Galleh Dari mosque

The Galleh Dari mosque is located in the city of Bandar Abbas (Hormozgan region) and was built in the year 1878 in place of a smaller one. Built on an area 1,5 meters high, it has a courtyard, one Shabestan with 16 cylindrical columns decorated with stuccos on the square base, a minaret and a minbar (pulpit).

On the different sides of the Shabestan 19 entrances with wooden doors and were built Iwan with a row of columns. Under the foundations of the mosque is located Shabestan winter. The pulpit, located at a depth of about 1,30 meters, is 4 meters high and is adorned with beautiful stucco decorations and on its southern side a sort of box has been installed for storing books and other objects.
