Delgosha mosque

The Delgosha mosque is located in the city of Bandar Abbas (Hormozgan region). It was built in the year 1761 and has been repaired and rebuilt several times to date.

With a surface area of ​​almost 4900 square meters, it is one of the city's ancient mosques; it has two floors, a minaret, a courtyard and 12 columns with a cubic base, remains of the ancient plan of this mosque.

Lo Shabestan it is built on two floors and has 20 large doors leading onto Iwan northern, eastern and southern. The mihrab (niche) is embellished with majolica and is very beautiful and together with the minbar (pulpit) and the minaret dates back to the time of the Zand dynasty.

This mosque is also known as Sunni Friday mosque and for its proximity to the mausoleum of the Imamzadeh Shah Mohammad Taghi (A), it is also known as the Imamzadeh mosque.
