Fekri House

The Fekri house is located in the town of Bandar Lengeh (Hormozgān region) and its construction dates back to the late qajaro period. It is one of the most interesting houses of this city and since once this building was famous as a center for commerce and business of the city, in its construction were considered two parts, one internal and one external for the Fekri family housing (owner of the original building) and one reserved for the reception of guests and traders.

This 5 tall building meters above ground level and built with stone, concrete and stucco, is equipped with 5 tall and beautiful ventilation towers, two courtyards, two basements, 25 rooms, 10 toilets and two large salons; its ceiling has wooden beams and walls made of leaves of the intertwined date tree and others of reeds linked together with a covering of straw and mud.

The inlay technique was used in the decorations and the house has beautiful stucco workmanship.
