The Soltaniyeh Dome
the archaeological area of Soltaniyeh is located at the forty-third kilometer of the road Zanjan-Khoda Bands. Soltaniye's dome is forty-eight and a half meters high, it belongs to the time the-khanide and it was built in nine years, from the 704 to the 713 of the lunar egypt, for the order of Soltan Mohammad Khodabande Uljaytu in order to become his mausoleum. This work is the largest dome in Iran and the third historical building with domes in the world, after the dome of Santa Maria in Fiore in Italy and the dome of the Hagia Sophia in Turkey. The Dome of Soltaniyeh is regarded as the fifth most important monument in Iran.
