The Pir-e Elmdar Tower

It is located near the Friday Mosque and the Fath Ali Bey Koranic School in the city of Damghan. This building is the mausoleum of Mohammad ebn-e Ebrahim, father of Abu Harb Bakhtiyari, praised by the poet Manuchehri Damghani. The structure is 13 meters high, was made of bricks and has a circular plan and an onion-shaped conical dome. This tower is famous for its ornamental inscriptions in Braided Cufic character.
