Hammam Amirieh

The Amirieh hammam is located in the village of Amirieh in the city of Shāhrud (Semnān region). This historic hammam that was built in 1271 of solar Hibira, dates back to the qajaro period and with the square footage of 360 meters is located in the palace Amir A'zam (governor of the time of the region of Qumes).

The Amirieh hammam is made of brick and has two main halls with four circular stone columns and capitals carved with floral motifs, stone walls, domed brick ceilings, the entrance portal adorned with particular designs, the dressing room, the calidarium, the hot and cold water mixer, the khazineh and a white stone bathtub.

The owners of this monument in recent years used it as a warehouse of hay and some parts of it have suffered damage. The restoration of this ancient hammam is underway.
