mausoleum of Darvish Fakhr Al-Din
The mausoleum of Darvish Fakhr Al-Din - among the most illustrious characters of the Sādāt Mar'ashi family - is located in the city of Muziraj, province of Babol (Māzandarān region) and dates back to the ninth century of the lunar Hegira.
This building is a circular tower with a hexagonal pyramid dome. The construction of the tower on one side joins a small vestibule that is a solemn building and has changed into the entrance.
The roof is double-covering and the inner lining is a circular dome; for the decorations of this building the relief brick and the turquoise tiles were used. In the courtyard there is a carved wooden chest and on the inscriptions around you can see verses from the Koran, prayers, the name of the deceased, his servant and the builder of the chest.
