castle Amir Bahman Khan Samsam

Amir Bahman Khan Samsam Castle is located near the town of Dezful (Khuzestan region), dating back to that time Qajar and its construction date is indicated in a brick inscription placed in front of the castle.

The two-storey building is made of bricks and includes Iranian architectural drawings and in particular the Dezful brickwork. The refined use of the frieze (a strip decorated with relief drawings placed above the columns around the edges of the ceiling), half-columns and Roman arches has given a particular aspect to this castle.
