The Band-e Darre Valley.

The dam Band-and darre it is a historical building near Birjand: it is the largest and oldest dam in the region, which is why it has been included among the monuments protected by the Cultural Organization of the Iranian artistic heritage. Its construction was probably requested by order of Prince Qajar Shaukat al-molk around 1880. The dam is a truly impressive construction, with a wall of 15 m extended in length by 35, creating a 13 m deep water basin , 31 long and up to 5 wide.
