Bojnurd Archaeological Museum.

The Bojnurd Archaeological Museum houses monuments of Islamic art and ceramics. it is located on the first floor of the atmospheric in Mofakham building in the city of Bojnurd. The palace itself has immense architectural value, being the largest and most significant Qajar-era building in the region. Originally the palace, and the surrounding building complex, was the seat of the local Qajaro government, where the governor resided with his family and held political receptions and meetings.

 

The museum is divided into five areas that house finds divided according to archaeological and chronological criteria: prehistoric, pre-Islamic, Islamic, numismatic and ceramic art. The six thousand and more objects kept at the museum are periodically displayed in exhibitions and institutes in the region and attract a growing number of visitors.
