The Nushirvan Cave.

Nushirvan Cave is located within the Sarigol Protected Area, North Khoran, ten kilometers north of the city of Esfarayen on Mount Gadtigh.

The entrance to the cave, a vertical opening in the wall of the mountain, is immersed in an uncontaminated natural landscape, along a stream and can be reached without particular difficulties.

Due to the slight depth of the cave the water, which filters from the rocky walls, flows towards the lowest point.

Inside there are no particular archaeological remains, however we know that this place was already well known in the Sasanian era, as evidenced by sources of the time.
