Kabudal waterfall
The Kabudal waterfall is located near the city of Aliabad-e Katul (Golestan region). This waterfall, the only moss in Iran and whose name means a light blue river or stream, is located in the depths of a canyon in the heart of the forest and on the slopes of the 1780-meter-high Mount Harun.
The point where it originates has a height of about 30 meters, higher than the waterfall itself, whose height is 12 meters and the depth of its basin of 2 meters.
It has fresh and drinkable water and is located in an area with a very mild climate in which there are also numerous small and large waterfalls in the continuation of the course of the Kabudval river and under each of these have created reservoirs.
To reach the waterfall you need to walk a path of about half an hour on a stretch paved in stone and with steps.
