Caspian Sea

The Caspian Sea

the coasts of the Caspian Sea, with their green plains and the high peaks of the surrounding mountains, are among the places of greatest tourist attraction in the Golestan region and in all of Iran. The Caspian Sea is the largest lake in the world - and for this reason it is called 'Sea' - and determines the climate of the coastal areas of northern Iran. The presence of naturalistic rarities on the banks of the Golestan region depends on the existence and conservation of the Caspian ecosystem. In the Golestan region there are two sea ports of Bandar-e Gaz and Bandar-e Torkeman which, besides carrying out the specific activities of port cities, are fun destinations.
