Iran presented the largest hand-woven carpet in the world. Inaugurating the international trade fair for the sector in Tabriz, in the north-west of the country.
The carpet that has 70 different colors on 600 square meters of width and weighs three tons. It took six years to complete, local media reports. Producers from various Iranian provinces and other countries participate in the exhibition, among the most important in the world.
The Persian rugs from Tabriz belong to the best hand-knotted rugs.
