Great Music in His Cinema.

Nicola Piovani, the guest of honor of 36a edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

Maestro Nicola Piovani, the award-winning composer, performed a show between cinema and music in the context of the Fajr International Cinema Festival, with pieces taken from his most famous soundtracks, accompanied by projections of images and scenes of films he recorded. The event is part of the first edition of the "Fare Cinema" exhibition, promoted and coordinated by the MAECI and the Ministry of Artistic and Cultural Heritage (MIBACT) and an integral part of the "Vivere all'italiana" integrated promotion plan.
The Piovani concert was performed at Vahdat Hall in Teheran.

Reza Mir Karimi, director of this edition spoke about the importance of Italian cinema in the development of the world's cinematographic art and said:

Italian cinema is known to all for its music and in this edition we have had the opportunity to appreciate the Italian cinematographic art together with great composers such as Nicola Piovani.

Piovani is not only known for his Oscar award but for his works that he created for geandi directors such as Fellini and Taviani.

Mauro Conciatori, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic in Teheran in his speech thanked the organization of the Festival to organize this initiative and has praised the admiration of Iranians for Italian culture.

Piovani the well-known Italian composer has played 4 songs for the audience in the prestigious hall of the Iranian capital receiving the long applause of the public.
