Mast or khyar
Simpler variant that accompanies meat.
INGREDIENTS FOR PEOPLE 4
• 400 g of natural whole yoghurt
• 4 average cucumbers
• Salt
• Black pepper
• Dried mint
• Garlic powder or well-pounded in a mortar (optional)
PREPARATION
Wash, peel and cut the cucumbers into thin strips with a vegetable peeler or chop them coarsely with a crescent. Eliminate the water they release and add them to the yogurt, salt, pepper, dried mint and crushed or powdered garlic if you like.
Mix carefully and serve in individual cups or one every two diners as a side dish and accompaniment to dishes and vegetables.
