The city of Yazd and its unique architecture

Yazd is one of the most important city as a center of Persian architecture. The dry, scorching desert climate in front of the city has one of the largest qanat networks in the world, and Yazd's qanat builders are considered the most skilled in Iran.

The old city of Yazd is one of the largest urban centers built almost entirely with adobe, a mixture of clay, sand and straw.

in order to discover the wonders of this beautiful city, the University of Rome Sapienza in collaboration with the University of Yazd organized a seminar with the presence of university professors.

Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome Sapienza with its headquarters in Piazza Borghese hosts this meeting on 27 April at 15.30 pm.
