The River Film Festival hosts short films from Iran.
Il River Film Festival (RiFF) returns to the banks of the Piovego for the fourteenth year and with the numerous cultural events that characterize it. The scenario is unique: the sixteenth-century staircase of Porta Portello, where the event takes place.
From 1 to 20 September, Porta Portello will become the most qualified stage in Italy for the best expressions of international short cinema, offering emerging talents an exceptional showcase to promote their works to the public and professionals.
As always, it will be an intense and extraordinary month, in which we will meet very different stories, techniques and people, but united by the idea that cinema can be a spectacular open window on multiculturalism and on the imaginaries of the whole world. Especially in a magical place such as Porta Portello, one of the ancient access roads to the city of Padua, in the heart of a neighborhood that still resists homologation.
There are eight short films produced by movies Iranian participating in the fourteenth edition of this festival.
