In memory of Dr. Akbar Gholi

In memory of Dr. Akbar Gholi.

The mystery of destiny always takes the best with it.

Destiny chooses the rose that bestows beauty on the lawn.

We learn with immense sorrow and amazement the news of the death of our dear colleague Dr. Akbar Gholi.

A colleague who not only committed himself to presenting Persian culture in Italy but also defended his homeland in the period of the war imposed by Iraq against Iran.

We are all familiar with his sincere efforts in the presentation of Persian culture, art and civilization and in the affairs of the Cultural Institute of Iran in Rome.

He believed in his work and his faith and humility were his main characteristics.

I offer my sincere condolences to family members and to the Iranian and Italian cultural community.

I pray to God that he will accept our prayers and welcome him into the abode of light and peace.

We have dedicated a page on our site for all the friends who knew him so that they can pay tribute to his memory. You could click here to write your dedication.

Mohammad Taghi Amini.

Director of the Cultural Institute of Iran in Rome.
