In memory of Akbar Gholi

Already a year after the death of Akbar Gholi.

In these days of November (November 13) a year ago Akbar Gholi died at the age of only 53, due to a fulminating disease. He colleague and the former director of the Cultural Institute of Iran in Rome.

A year has already passed since our Akbar left us too prematurely. A year in which, every single day, we deeply missed his smile and his serene positivity.

We would have liked to have him still here with us to fill that void that, after his death, opened up in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him and working with him.

In the several years of collaboration, his great professionalism has made the Cultural Institute of Iran in Rome a better, loved and welcoming place with everyone, friends and colleagues.

Our thoughts go today to his family, to whom we embrace in an affectionate embrace.
