Farewell to Francesco Brioschi, visionary publisher and ambassador of Persian literature.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Francesco Brioschi, founder and director of the publishing house of the same name, who passed away at the age of 86.

Francesco Brioschi has dedicated his life to the promotion of contemporary literature, with a particular passion for Persian literature. Thanks to his vision and tireless commitment, Francesco Brioschi Editore has become a point of reference for the diffusion of literary works of the highest level in Italy.

His contribution to Italian culture has been invaluable. Brioschi introduced the Italian public to numerous contemporary Persian authors, enriching the national literary landscape and creating bridges between different cultures.

His dedication, editorial acumen, and deep knowledge of literature will leave an unfillable void in the publishing world. His legacy, however, will live on through the books he published and the authors he discovered and promoted.

On behalf of the Iranian Cultural Institute in Rome, we express our sincere condolences to his family and friends. We are committed to carrying on his legacy, continuing to promote quality literature and build cultural bridges, as Francis taught us to do.
