The 42 ° Persian language course has officially opened its doors.
In order to promote the Persian language, the Cultural Institute of Iran organizes every year the Persian language and literature course which has now reached its 20nd edition after 42 years.
The course promoted through the social channels and the site of the institute has been a great success having a welcome from interested parties that have rejoined the 40 number as subscribers.
The course program includes: a general introduction on the Persian language: hints of the history of the language and variety, the learning of Persian writing and, through simple communicative texts, of the basic elements of grammar: phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax.

Basic principles of Persian morphosyntaxis
At the end of the course the student has a deeper knowledge of the linguistic structures and deals with the systematic study of the syntax of the Persian language. It is able to support dialogues in more complex communication situations and to produce / decode during short drilled tutorials such as letters, descriptions, etc. with the use of previously assimilated linguistic materials. Under the guidance of the teacher he tackles the reading of literary, poetic and prose pieces, of complexity appropriate to the preparation reached.
The contents of the course will be developed on the contemporary modern Persian spoken in Iran.
The texts used for the study of the Farsì (Persian) will provide students with the necessary tools for learning the written-literary language and the spoken language.
Readings and translations of simple texts, suitable for the intermediate level of Persian study, will be accompanied by exercises concerning the spelling and grammatical analysis of the Persian language. In addition, students will be guided to learn the grammar rules by reading and using the daily conversation texts.

Learning assessment procedures
The test includes an oral exam in which the student is asked to read, translate and identify grammatical and syntactic aspects of one or more passages in Persian, already studied during the course. There will be a conversation in the language on a topic chosen by the student.
Tools to support teaching
Texts of daily conversation will be made available to the students in photocopies and handouts translated from the unpublished material on the specific topics covered during the course and on the works of contemporary Persian authors not translated into Italian.
