Our activities

The Cultural Institute of Iran in Rome essentially carries out its activities in two directions with two fundamental characteristics. The first consists in programming and implementing its activity to give a better knowledge of Persian culture, such as exhibitions, conferences, concerts, film screenings, theatrical performances, book publications, the conduct of Persian language and literature courses. The second consists in collaborations with institutions and institutions in Italy, in particular with Italian universities in the scientific field and the promotion of Persian and Islamic language courses. The peculiarity and richness of Persian culture lies precisely in the coexistence of traditional culture and that of a modern country. The activities of the Institute aim above all at making known all the aspects of Iranian culture, showing how not only the traditional element lives in modern Iran, but also how modern culture today has been absorbed and, finally, what role it has currently in the world the country in the light of the great recent developments.
