Narges Abiyar, screenwriter, writer and film director

Narges Abiyar was born in Tehran in the 1970. After graduating in Persian literature, he begins to devote himself to writing. His debut feature is titled Things are closer to you than you see in the mirror (Ashiyā az āncheh dar āyneh mibinid beh shomā nazdiktarand, 2013). To date, he has directed four films. The works of Narges Ābiyār often have as their object the Iran-Iraq War.
