Bardani conquers the jury with the film "The most beautiful century of my life".
The 42nd edition of the Fajr Film Festival, the most important Iranian film event, ended with great success. During the awards ceremony, held in Tehran, the award for best screenplay was awarded to Alessandro Bardani for the film "The most beautiful century of my life".
Alessandro Bardani, director, screenwriter, actor and presenter, won over the jury and the audience with his film and its distinctive qualities. His work was recognized for the best script and for the message he wants to convey.
Bardani was born in Rome on 16 September 1978. He graduated from the “Corrado Pani” Academy. The beginning of his career and his directorial debut was with the short film “Relativity” with which he won the Alice Prize “a short film for the David”, David di Donatello 2007. In 2012 he wrote and directed the short film “Ce l 'do you have a minute?" which won the nomination for the David di Donatello that same year. His first experience as an actor was in the series
“Criminal Novel” directed by Stefano Sollima. In 2015 you wrote and directed the blockbuster show entitled "The Most Beautiful Century of My Life". In 2016 he hosted “Happy hour” on Radio 2. In 2018 he wrote the story and screenplay of “Amici Come Prima” directed by Christian De Sica. The film wins the "Golden Ticket" as the highest Italian grosser of the season. In 2021 he is in the cast of the SKY series on Francesco Totti "Speravo de died before" directed by Luca Ribuoli. Since 2022 he has been Artistic Director of "AltraScena Piombino Festival" which has seen on stage artists of the caliber of: Laura Morante, Tiromancino, Marco Bocci, Lillo, Edoardo Pesce, Vinicio Marchioni and the Magistrate Alfonso Sabella. In 2023 he created his first work, a cinematographic translation of the show: "The Most Beautiful Century of My Life". The film is produced by Gabriele Mainetti for GoonFilms and distributed in theaters by Lucky Red. Written with Leonardo Fasoli and Maddalena Ravagli. With Sergio Castellitto, Valerio Lundini and Carla Signoris. Original song: “La Vita Com'è” by Brunori Sas. The film won the "Giffoni Film Festival" of the same year and was nominated for the David di Donatello 2024 for "Best Original Song".
