In Teano you discover the Archaeological Museum of Tehran, a journey into ancient Persia.

The next appointment with culture and archaeology is set for Saturday February 14 2026. At 16:30, in the splendid setting of the Sala del Loggione at the Archaeological Museum of Teanum Sidicinum (Piazza Umberto I), an interesting cultural meeting dedicated to the wonders of the East will be held.

The event will feature a conversation focused on “The Archaeological Museum of Tehran”, an institution that houses some of the most precious treasures of Persian and human history.

The audience will be guided on this virtual journey by Dr. Antonio Salerno, Archaeological Heritage Coordinator for the SABAP of Caserta and Benevento and former Director of the Teano Museum. His experience and knowledge will ensure a high-quality scientific and educational study.

The meeting will be introduced by Jolanda Capriglione, President of the Sidicina Association “Friends of Museums”.

The initiative is organized bySidicina Association of Friends of Museums of Teano, in synergy with the UNESCO Club of Caserta, the Pro Loco Teano Teanum Sidicinum andCultural Association Project for Rocca.

Entrance is open to all history, art, and archaeology enthusiasts who wish to broaden their cultural horizons to explore the great civilizations of the past.
