University of Turin inaugurates Iran Room
For the first time in inter-university relations between Iran and Italy, on Friday 19 January at 12.00 the first Iran Room was inaugurated in the University of Turin at the Department of Humanities.
In addition to the students and sympathizers of Asian and African languages and cultures, the inauguration ceremony was attended by teachers, the head of the internationalization area of the university, Prof.ssa Tiziana Maccario is the director of the Cultural Institute of the Iran in Rome dr. Gholi.
In the Iran Room you can have access to materials useful for the knowledge and study of the Persian language and culture, donated to the University of Turin by the Institute of Iranian Culture in Rome.
The Cultural Institute of Iran has made available to the University as well as teaching materials and books and audiovisual materials.
