He received his PhD in Italian Studies from the University of Rome and has a deep knowledge of both Persian and Italian literature. He is a leading scholar in comparative studies and has already authored important publications in this field, including The Legacy of Rome (History of Italian Literature), History of oratory in Italy e The Dolce Stil Novo in Iranian and Italian Literature.
