The framework agreement was born as part of an internationalization project on the doctorate in Mechanical Engineering which has the aim of trying to govern the application flows of PhD applications that are received on the doctorate. To this end, attempts are being made to establish contacts with the main Iranian universities. In particular, AUT - Amirkabir University of Technology is third in Iran (according to the ranking indicated by Prof. Ballio - ranking by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), 2011). The contact was activated by a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering.

Sharif University of technology is one of three universities at the top of the Iranian ranking for engineering courses. The interest of the Polytechnic for this university lies, first of all, in trying to attract a greater number of students to our Master's Degrees and PhDs, to improve the quality of Iranian students at the Polytechnic. Sharif's international office has been relatively active in responding to our requests for cooperation, while insisting on signing an agreement. It seems useful to comply with the request in the hope that this can open a dialogue and concrete initiatives.

The Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine, through the Sports Management Laboratory, and the Department of Sports Management of the Sport Sciences Research Institute (SSRI), IR of Iran are respectively engaged in research on sports management issues. As part of the collaboration activity, formalized with the Cultural and Scientific Collaboration agreement signed in December 2014, the partners intend to strengthen the scientific knowledge base at an international level on sports management issues (organization, management and marketing of companies and sports facilities, sponsorships, realization of events, sports tourism, multimedia applications in sports). Since the signing of the agreement, the partner universities have finalized profitable exchange activities. In particular, Prof. Zagnoli in February 2015 participated as key note speaker at the International Conference ?? Physical Education and Sport Sciences ?? which took place in Tehran with two talks: ?? Sport Marketing and New Media ?? and ?? The role of media and digital technologies on sport marketing development ??. The occasion of the Congress has favored the planning of activities that can be developed during the 2015-2016 academic year, in particular: - Visits by teachers and researchers of partner universities for the organization and conduct of seminars, lectures , workshops, conventions and conferences (Expected visit of Iranian teachers in May 2016); - Visits of doctoral students aimed at the implementation of field research activities and research of bibliographic material; - Exchange of publications, reports, scientific articles on sport management issues; - Design of joint research and co-authorship of scientific papers in particular on the following topics: * comparative studies in Iran and Italy on the participation of women in physical-motor practice; * impact and legacy of sporting events; * development and design of multimedia applications for the sports sector. The exchange, collaboration and cooperation activity is aimed at disseminating theoretical knowledge and skills applied to the sport sector that can favor the development of new managerial, organizational and marketing skills in the Iranian sports context.
