46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Today, celebrations for the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution officially begin in Iran.

This year marks the forty-sixth anniversary of the Iranian Revolution, which took place on February 1979, XNUMX.

The celebrations begin every year on February 14, corresponding to the date of return to Iran of Imam Khomeini, the leader of the Islamic revolution, from the long exile that lasted over XNUMX years.

The ten days between the return of Imam Khomeini and the victory of the revolution are referred to in Iran as the "Decade of Fajr".

The celebrations go on for ten days until they culminate on February XNUMX in large street demonstrations in all Iranian cities in which millions of citizens take part every year.

In the Decade of Fajr, like every year, events and initiatives are also planned in many other countries of the world.
